Zero Limits Scholarship Expands in 2024, Awarding 10 Scholarships to Deserving Students

The Jayson Tatum Foundation continues its mission of empowering and supporting youth in the St. Louis metropolitan area with the Zero Limits Scholarship Program, an initiative dedicated to helping students achieve their dreams through higher education. Following the success of its inaugural year in 2023, where five deserving students were each awarded $10,000 scholarships, the Foundation has expanded its reach in 2024, doubling the number of recipients to 10 students—a testament to the program’s growth and impact.

The Zero Limits Scholarship was created to help ease some of the financial burden that often prevents promising students from pursuing post-secondary education. Many of these students come from families facing financial hardship, and this scholarship provides them with the support they need to focus on their academic and career aspirations without the overwhelming stress of tuition and expenses.

This year’s 10 scholarship recipients were selected based on their academic achievements, leadership qualities, community involvement, and determination to create a better future for themselves and those around them. The students were honored during a special presentation at The 4th Annual Jayson Tatum Foundation Charity Golf Tournament & Silent Auction, where they were recognized for their dedication and perseverance in front of an audience of supporters, sponsors, and community leaders.

Jayson Tatum, whose own journey was shaped by the support of his family and community, spoke about the importance of investing in the next generation. “Education has the power to change lives, and I want these students to know that their dreams are within reach. This scholarshipis about giving them the opportunity to succeed and reminding them that there are no limits to what they can achieve,”said Tatum.

The growth of the Zero Limits Scholarship Program reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to inspiring, uplifting, and empowering young people through education. By doubling the number of recipients in just its second year, the foundation is ensuring that more students have the resources they need to take the next step in their journey toward success.

With ongoing support from donors, sponsors, and the community, The Jayson Tatum Foundation aims to continue expanding this initiative in the years to come, further impacting the lives of young scholars and strengthening the Foundation’s mission of making education accessible for all.
