The Jayson Tatum Foundation’s Thanksgiving STL Dinner was nothing short of extraordinary. What began as a simple idea, to provide a holiday meal for families affected by the May 16th tornado, blossomed into a joyful, first-class celebration of community, connection, and togetherness.
From the moment guests arrived at The Third-Degree Glass Factory, the atmosphere felt like family. Volunteers greeted everyone with warm smiles, music filled the room, and beautifully prepared Thanksgiving plates were served with the care and hospitality you’d expect at a holiday table back home. Every detail, from the food to the décor to the service, reflected love, intention, and dignity.
The true highlight of the day was the energy that moved throughout the space. Families laughed, shared stories, and enjoyed a moment of peace and normalcy. Children played, neighbors reunited, and the joy was unmistakable. You could feel the gratitude…deep, heartfelt, and contagious.
This event was about more than a meal. It was about reminding families that they are seen, supported, and surrounded by community. It was about creating a space where hope felt restored and where everyone, regardless of circumstances, could sit down to a warm, festive dinner and feel at home. Together, we created something truly special, and proved once again that when St. Louis shows up, we show up with love.
