The 2nd Annual Basketball Camp & Leadership Program was held in June 2019 at the Wohl Recreation Center.
To attend this program, students needed to write an essay and be selected to participate. Over 100 hundred children and youth participated in the FREE one-day basketball camp learning new skills, teamwork, and drills.
After the Camp, the participants attended a Leadership Program with guest speakers Brandy Cole (Jayson’s mother) and renowned attorney and civic leader Reuben Shelton. Both speakers shared with the campers the importance of setting goals, working hard, and making a difference in their communities.
Gatorade, Jordan Brand, Chick-fil-A and Pizza Hut made donations to the 2nd Annual Basketball Camp & Leadership Program.
