SoFi, a leader in providing families with banking and lending opportunities, has donated $1 million to The Jayson Tatum Foundation as part of their Generational Wealth Fund. SoFi’s mission is to help people reach financial independence to realize their ambitions, and this partnership will enable The Jayson Tatum Foundation to help the St. Louis region create generational wealth through homeownership. Qualifying low-to-moderate-income first-time homebuyers who are purchasing a home in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, or St. Charles County (Missouri) will have the opportunity to apply for grants to assist with closing costs and approved emergency needs through The Jayson Tatum Foundation Homebuyer Grants Program.
To continue his support of the families in the St. Louis area, Jayson Tatum will match the SoFi donation to his Foundation. The Jayson Tatum Foundation will use this matching designated donation to provide grants to qualifying low-to-moderate income first-time homebuyers to assist with some of the down payment costs for those qualifying applicants purchasing a home in St. Louis City, St. Louis County or St. Charles County (Missouri).
